There are three steps in this oxygen producing process of PSA: ①air compression;②air purification;③ PSA oxygen production.
Air compression: Select an air compressor with high quality, less oil-containing or oil-free, which is one of the key factors to ensure the system proper operation, for this may effectively prevent the molecular sieve from micropore blocking or poisoning, and prevent the molecular sieve from decreasing efficiency to reduce the capacity of the device.
Air purification: It is also important to select an air treating system with high quality. The air treating system of Weiton includes a refrigerating dryer, an adsorbing dryer and filters etc. Removing oil and water can protect the molecular sieve.
PSA oxygen production: The purified air is conveyed respectively into two adsorbent towers, in which adsorption and desorption are performed alternately by automatically controlling pneumatic valves with PLC control. Oxygen and nitrogen in the air are separated, and the nitrogen-enriched air is vented and the oxygen is collected at the top of the towers and conveyed into the following oxygen storage tank.
